Prac Yosemite National Park encompasses approximately 3,000 km2 (1,200 sq. Miles) and includes one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in the world. Yosemite Valley has a length of 13km (8 miles) and a width of only 1600 m (1 mile). The steep granite walls with a height of 1000 m (3000 feet) stand on both sides of the valley. Nine waterfalls cascade into the valley. Five of them are over 300 m high, the waters of Yosemite falls drop 740 meters (2425 feet) before crashing on the rocks.

Most visitors come to gaze at the Yosemite Valley and it can get very crowded especially on weekends. There is a loop road between the valley and access is sometimes restricted during the weekend was charged with. The Park Service organize shuttle bus around the loop from some parking lots. The accommodation and camping in the valley have generally full during the summer months when they are offered to book a year in advance.
